Rockford Fosgate T3S1-19 19" 1-Ohm Superwoofer

The Rockford Fosgate T3S1-19 is a 19-inch Power T3 superwoofer designed for high-output car audio systems. It uses a single 1-ohm voice coil and is built for installations with substantial enclosure space and amplifier capacity. Its large cone area and long-excursion design are intended to reproduce low-frequency content in purpose-built vehicle audio systems.

The voice coil uses dual push/pull windings within a single-voice-coil design. Integrated heat-sink fins and frame venting are used to support thermal management during high-power operation.

The T3S1-19 is designed for vented enclosures only, with a published high-output enclosure alignment. Its 4 AWG compression terminal accommodates heavy-gauge speaker wiring. Because of its size, depth, and power rating, this driver is best planned as part of a complete custom enclosure, amplifier, wiring, and electrical-system upgrade.

Design & Installation

The T3S1-19 uses a three-layer glass-fiber/Aramid-honeycomb/glass-fiber cone, aluminum dustcap, injection-molded foam surround, dual Nomex progressive spiders, and a die-cast aluminum frame. Its frame incorporates heat-sink fins and venting, while an integrated die-cast aluminum trim ring completes the installation-facing design. The dual-gap multi-pole neodymium motor and 115-ounce magnet structure support the driver’s heavy-duty construction.

Plan for a custom vented enclosure with adequate internal volume, port volume, and structural rigidity. Rockford Fosgate's published vented alignment uses 8.0 cu. ft. total internal volume, including woofer and port displacement, for 6.4 cu. ft. net internal volume tuned to 30 Hz. Verify available mounting clearance before cutting, use the 4 AWG compression terminal with suitable speaker cable, and pair the subwoofer with an amplifier stable at a 1-ohm load.
