The Rockford Fosgate T1D212 is a 12-inch Power Series subwoofer built for vehicle audio systems that need substantial low-frequency output from a single driver. The terminal uses an insulated all-metal spring connection sized for 8 AWG speaker wire.

For enclosure planning, Rockford Fosgate specifies a 1.25 cubic-foot sealed enclosure or a 1.75 cubic-foot ported enclosure. The driver requires a 11.25-inch cutout and a 6.75-inch mounting depth, so enclosure clearance should be checked before installation. It is a practical choice for a dedicated bass upgrade when paired with an appropriately rated amplifier, enclosure, wiring, and system tuning.

The T1D212 uses a Kevlar fiber-reinforced paper cone, VAST Santoprene surround, anodized aluminum dust cap, dual Nomex-reinforced spiders, and a die-cast aluminum basket. Its magnetic assembly includes an Inductive Damping Heat Sink and venting around the pole piece and spider area. These components are engineered to manage heat, support excursion, and maintain the driver structure during use.

Plan for a 285 mm cutout and 171 mm mounting depth, plus sufficient clearance behind the magnet and terminals. Use the included SWIFT jumper only as directed to select the desired nominal 1-ohm or 4-ohm load, and pair the driver with an amplifier and enclosure appropriate for its 800-watt RMS rating.
