Plan for an 11.22-inch mounting cutout, 3.65-inch mounting depth, and 0.086 cubic feet of woofer displacement when calculating enclosure volume. Rockford Fosgate specifies a 1.00-cubic-foot sealed enclosure or 1.25-cubic-foot vented enclosure as recommended designs, with a sealed range of 0.60-1.20 cubic feet. Match the amplifier to the selected final impedance, use dual 10 AWG compression terminals, and use an active 80-100 Hz low-pass crossover at 12 dB/octave as recommended in the manual.
