The Gretsch G5655T-QM Electromatic Center Block Jr. is a right-handed, six-string electric guitar with a compact single-cutaway center-block design. It is made for players seeking semi-hollow resonance and humbucking-pickup output in a smaller-bodied instrument. The Mariana finish is paired with a quilted laminated maple top, back, and sides.
A chambered spruce center block supports the guitar’s dynamic response and makes it suited to amplified playing at higher volume. Its Black Top Broad'Tron humbucking pickups are designed to deliver a bold, articulate voice with substantial punch. Separate pickup volumes, a master volume, and a master tone provide hands-on control of the output and tonal balance.
The 24.6-inch scale maple set neck has a Thin "U" profile for a familiar electric-guitar feel. A 12-inch-radius laurel fingerboard, 22 medium-jumbo frets, and pearloid Neo-Classic thumbnail inlays support comfortable chord work, bends, and lead playing. The lower-set neck design also provides access farther up the fingerboard.
A Bigsby-licensed B70 vibrato tailpiece adds expressive pitch movement, while the anchored Adjusto-Matic bridge provides the string support and adjustment platform. The master-volume circuit includes treble bleed to help retain clarity as the master volume is reduced. A three-position toggle selects bridge pickup, both pickups, or neck pickup operation.
The G5655T-QM fits naturally into a guitar-and-amp setup for rehearsals, recording, and stage performance. Its dual humbuckers can be used with clean, edge-of-breakup, or higher-gain amplifier settings, while the compact 14-inch body offers a more manageable footprint than a full-size hollowbody. A case or gig bag is listed separately as an optional accessory.

Design & Installation
This instrument uses a gloss-finished laminated maple Center Block Jr. body with arched top and back construction, aged-white binding, and B/AW/B purfling. The maple set neck has matching gloss finish, aged-white binding, black side dots, and an aged-white-bound headstock. Nickel hardware, a gold Plexi pickguard, G-Arrow knobs, and die-cast tuners complete the design.
Connect the guitar’s standard electric-guitar output to a compatible instrument cable and guitar amplifier; an amplifier and cable are not specified as included. Use the three-position pickup selector and four control knobs to set pickup blend, overall level, and tone before adjusting the amplifier. For carrying or storage, Gretsch lists compatible gig bag and hardshell case options separately.
