The Arturia KeyLab 61 mk3 White is a 61-key USB MIDI keyboard controller for musicians, producers, composers, and performers who want hands-on control of software instruments and DAW sessions. Its semi-weighted, velocity-sensitive keybed provides a longer playing range than compact controllers while retaining a synth-oriented feel. It connects a keyboard performance, mixer-style control surface, and MIDI control hub in one desktop or stage-ready unit.

Designed for computer-based music production, KeyLab 61 mk3 works with Arturia Analog Lab Pro and supports integrated control workflows for major DAWs. The onboard display, contextual buttons, encoders, faders, pads, and transport controls reduce the need to reach for a mouse during sound selection, recording, editing, and mix adjustments. It is also suited to users controlling external MIDI-capable synths and drum machines.

The keybed includes aftertouch and release-velocity sensitivity for more detailed MIDI performance data when using compatible instruments. Pitch and modulation wheels give direct control over expressive sound parameters, while the RGB pads can trigger notes, drums, samples, and clips. Chord, Scale, Arpeggiator, and Hold functions provide practical tools for sketching parts and performing patterns.

KeyLab 61 mk3 uses nine touch-sensitive rotary encoders and nine touch-sensitive 50 mm faders for parameter and level control. Its 3.5-inch full-color display presents real-time feedback, with eight contextual buttons for navigation. Up to six user presets allow the controller layout to be adapted for different instruments, DAWs, or hardware setups.

For a complete setup, connect the controller to a Mac or Windows computer over USB-C and use the included software with a compatible DAW or as standalone software where supported. A 5-pin MIDI connection and assignable pedal input expand its usefulness with external instruments and performance pedals. The included USB-C to USB-A cable, Analog Lab Pro, Ableton Live Lite, and additional software titles provide a practical starting point for production and performance.

The KeyLab 61 mk3 White combines high-density plastic construction, ruggedized controls, and real-wood side paneling. Its white finish is paired with a full-size control layout that places pads, display navigation, knobs, faders, transport buttons, and performance wheels within reach. A Kensington security slot is included for use with a compatible lock.

Connect the controller to a computer with the included USB-C to USB-A cable for USB bus power and MIDI communication. Install and register the included software through Arturia Software Center, then select the appropriate KeyLab integration or MIDI control surface setting in your DAW. Use the pedal input for sustain, modulation, or expression control, and connect compatible external gear through the MIDI connection when needed.
