The Arturia AstroLab 37 is a compact standalone stage keyboard designed for players who want a broad sound library without relying on a laptop during rehearsal, production, or performance. Its 37-note slim keybed keeps the footprint manageable for small studios, desktop rigs, travel, and secondary keyboard setups. Velocity sensitivity and aftertouch provide expressive control for leads, basses, pads, keys, and other performance sounds.
More than 1,800 built-in sounds cover synthesized, sampled, acoustic, and vintage-inspired instrument categories. Eleven onboard sound engines provide the underlying range, including virtual analog, wavetable, FM, granular, physical modelling, vector synthesis, vocoder, and Karplus synthesis. The instrument is intended for musicians who need quick access to varied sounds in a self-contained hardware format.
The performance layout centers on a color screen, navigation encoder, 10 preset buttons, four instrument macros, and four dedicated effects controls. Brightness, Timbre, Time, and Movement macros give hands-on access to core sound-shaping parameters. Dedicated Delay and Reverb controls, plus two assignable effects controls, support practical real-time adjustment while playing.
AstroLab 37 includes Chord, Scale, Arpeggiator, and Hold functions for fast musical ideas and live performance workflows. Pitch and modulation wheels and octave controls add familiar keyboard expression, while the mic/line input supports the built-in vocoder and external audio processing. Bluetooth audio playback can route music from a compatible device through the instrument for practice or jamming.
For studio-to-stage use, AstroLab 37 works with the included Analog Lab Pro software and AstroLab Connect app for sound management, preset synchronization, and playlist organization. It offers MIDI I/O, USB-C device connectivity, USB-A host capability, Wi-Fi control, balanced stereo outputs, and a headphone output. Its compact size makes it a useful standalone sound source, a performance keyboard, or a portable addition to a MIDI-based setup.

Design & Installation
AstroLab 37 uses a white, compact keyboard format with a 37-note slim keybed, dedicated physical performance controls, a color display, and a navigation encoder. The layout places sound selection, macro adjustment, effects control, chord and scale functions, arpeggiation, and hold functions directly on the instrument. At 4.30 lb, it is suited to desktop, mobile, and compact live-performance environments.
Connect the supplied power supply before use, then route the balanced 1/4-inch TRS outputs to a mixer, audio interface, or powered monitors; a dedicated headphone output is available for private monitoring. USB-C connects the keyboard to a computer, while the USB-A host port can accept compatible external MIDI controllers or keyboards. A sustain pedal can be connected for hands-free control, and the mono mic/line input can be used with a microphone for vocoder performance or with line-level external audio.
