Design & Installation

The P1-1X12 enclosure is built from 5/8-inch medium-density fiberboard and finished in high-density black carpet. The driver incorporates a Kevlar-reinforced paper cone, NBR surround, stamped steel frame, protective PVC motor cover, and a soft-touch trim ring.

Mount the enclosure securely in a trunk, hatch, or cargo area where its 15.125-inch height, 19.125-inch width, and 15.75-inch depth can be accommodated. Connect the amplifier's positive speaker output to the enclosure's red terminal and its negative output to the black terminal, using appropriately sized speaker cable. Use an external amplifier designed to deliver power safely into a 4-ohm load, and disconnect the vehicle battery's negative terminal before installation.
