The PreSonus StudioLive 32SC is a compact, rack-mountable digital console designed for live sound, installed systems, broadcast, and multitrack recording. It combines a 40-channel digital mixing environment with hands-on fader control in a format suited to mobile rigs and space-conscious control rooms. Its flexible routing helps operators manage performers, main systems, monitor feeds, and recording workflows from one console.
Sixteen recallable XMAX-R microphone preamps provide the physical input foundation, while digital patching allows sources from analog inputs, AVB, USB, and SD-card playback to be assigned within the mixer. The console offers 16 FlexMixes that can be configured as auxiliary sends, subgroups, or matrix mixes. Four dedicated effects buses, four subgroups, and 24 DCAs support organized control of larger sessions.
Its dual-core FLEX DSP engine supports 286 simultaneous processors, including Fat Channel EQ and dynamics processing across inputs and output buses. FLEX FX provides four effects slots for reverb and delay processing, each served by dedicated effects buses. This architecture gives engineers practical control of tonal shaping, dynamics, and time-based effects without requiring external processors for many applications.
For recording, the StudioLive 32SC includes a 64x64 USB audio interface and an onboard 34-track SD recorder. It can capture input channels and a stereo mix to USB, SD card, or both, supporting redundant recording workflows. Virtual Soundcheck lets recorded material be used for setup and mix preparation without requiring performers to be present.
Built-in 64x64 AVB networking makes the StudioLive 32SC a central mixer for a scalable PreSonus Series III system. It can work with NSB-series stage boxes for remote I/O and EarMix 16M units for personal monitoring, with optional Dante expansion available through the AVB-D16. Capture multitrack recording software and a Fender Studio Pro software license are included with purchase.

Design & Installation
The StudioLive 32SC uses a gray, compact console chassis with 17 touch-sensitive motorized faders, a 7-inch touch display, and dedicated physical controls for mixing tasks. Its rack-mountable form factor is intended for portable systems and permanent installations where console depth and footprint matter. The layout combines analog connections, digital audio, networking, recording, and monitor control on one mixer.
Install the console where its 22.97-inch depth, ventilation needs, cable access, and 23.15-pound weight can be accommodated. Connect microphones and line-level sources to the analog inputs, route main and FlexMix outputs to the sound system and monitor system, and use USB or SD media for recording. AVB-equipped NSB stage boxes and EarMix 16M personal monitor mixers can be added when remote I/O or musician-controlled monitoring is needed.
