Twenty-eight Onyx microphone preamps provide a wide 60 dB gain range for microphones and line-level sources. Individual channel level, pan, solo, overload, and mute indication supports practical operation during live events.

Channels 25 through 28 include dedicated inline single-knob compression for controlling critical sources such as vocals or percussion. The mixer also includes four group outputs with inserts, making it suitable for systems that need flexible signal distribution.

Its integrated 4x2 USB interface can send up to four streams to a computer while returning stereo playback to the mixer. This supports recording subgroups or the main left/right mix, plus computer playback for walk-in music or production work. Long-throw faders, stereo metering, and a steel chassis make the 3204VLZ4 appropriate for permanent installations and portable production rigs.

Allow a stable surface with space for the 38-inch-wide chassis and rear-panel cable access. Connect microphones and line sources to the appropriate channels, route main outputs to a sound system, and use aux sends for monitors or external processors. USB can be connected to a compatible Mac or PC when four-channel recording output or stereo computer playback is needed.
