The PreSonus AudioBox iTwo is a compact 2x2 USB 2.0 and iPad audio interface for recording vocals, instruments, keyboards, and other line-level sources. It provides a practical front end for a computer- or iPad-based recording setup without requiring a separate USB power supply. Two combo inputs allow a small studio to capture one or two sources at a time.
It is suited to songwriters, musicians, podcasters, and mobile creators who need microphone, instrument, and line-input capability in one portable unit. The two Class A microphone preamps supply adjustable gain and switchable +48V phantom power for compatible condenser microphones. Each channel can also accept a 1/4-inch instrument or line-level source through its combo jack.
Audio is converted at up to 24-bit/96 kHz, giving the interface the resolution needed for detailed recording and playback sessions. Balanced 1/4-inch main outputs connect to powered monitors or other line-level equipment. A separate stereo headphone output with its own level control supports private monitoring.
For overdubbing, the AudioBox iTwo uses direct analog monitoring to blend live input with computer playback without monitoring latency. Input signal and clip LEDs help set levels before distortion reaches the converter. Its 1x1 MIDI input and output also provide a direct connection for compatible MIDI keyboards, controllers, and sound modules.
The metal chassis is sized for desktop use or travel and is bus-powered through USB 2.0. It can serve as the central interface in a compact recording rig with microphones, instruments, headphones, and powered speakers. The original package documentation also lists a USB cable, hookup guide, registration card, Studio One Artist download access, and Capture Duo for iPad availability.

Design & Installation
The AudioBox iTwo uses a compact metal chassis designed for portable recording use. Its front panel places input gain controls, source selection, phantom power, monitoring controls, headphone level, and status LEDs within easy reach. A large main output knob controls the level sent to the balanced main outputs.
Connect the interface to a computer using USB 2.0, then attach microphones, instruments, or line-level gear to the two combo inputs. Use balanced 1/4-inch TRS cables for powered monitors when possible, and connect headphones to the front-panel stereo output for monitoring. For iPad recording, use the rear Device connection with compatible iOS power and connection accessories, then select the AudioBox iTwo in the recording app.

Can I record two microphones at once?
Yes. The AudioBox iTwo has two XLR/1/4-inch combo inputs with microphone preamps. +48V phantom power is available for compatible condenser microphones.
Can I plug in a guitar or keyboard?
Yes. Each 1/4-inch combo input can be switched for instrument or line-level operation. Use instrument mode for passive guitar or bass, and line mode for sources such as keyboards or amp modelers.
Will it work with a Mac, Windows PC, or iPad?
It is designed for USB 2.0 computer and compatible iPad recording. The interface is class-compliant for Mac and iOS operation; Windows use requires the appropriate PreSonus driver.
What do I need besides the interface?
You will need a compatible computer or iPad, microphones or instruments, and the necessary audio cables. Headphones or powered monitor speakers are needed for audio monitoring.
Does it have MIDI ports?
Yes. The AudioBox iTwo includes one MIDI input and one MIDI output using standard 5-pin DIN connections. These ports carry MIDI data, not audio.
What was included with the original package?
The owner documentation lists the AudioBox iTwo, a 5-foot USB cable, an AudioBox Hookup Guide, and a product-registration card. It also documented Studio One Artist download access and Capture Duo for iPad availability; software access for used or older inventory should be confirmed with the seller.
