The Fender QUANTUM LT2 is a compact 2-in, 2-out USB-C audio interface for recording vocals, guitars, basses, line-level gear, podcasts, and streamed content. It provides a focused desktop or mobile recording front end for creators who want straightforward connection and monitoring without a large rack setup. Bus-powered operation helps keep the system portable and reduces the need for an external power supply.

Designed for solo artists, students, home recordists, and content creators, the QUANTUM LT2 combines one mic/line combo input with a dedicated high-impedance instrument input. The Fender-designed instrument input is voiced for direct guitar and bass recording, while the MAX-HD microphone preamp supplies up to 75 dB of gain. This layout makes it practical to track a vocal or microphone source alongside an electric instrument.

The interface supports 24-bit audio at sample rates up to 192 kHz, with custom low-latency drivers for macOS and Windows recording workflows. Its microphone and line-input paths are specified for a 20 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response, 115 dB dynamic range, and 0.001% THD+N. These specifications support clean capture for music production, voice recording, and direct-input instrument sessions.

Monitoring connections include balanced 1/4-inch TRS main outputs for powered studio monitors and a separate 1/4-inch headphone output. Direct monitoring and software-controlled mixer functions help creators hear live sources while tracking. Loopback routing also supports streaming, podcasting, tutorials, and recording computer audio into a session.

The QUANTUM LT2 fits naturally into an entry-level home studio, a laptop recording rig, or a compact content-creation workstation. Standalone Mixer Mode allows it to function as a small analog-style mixer without a computer or DAW. Registration provides access to Fender Studio software benefits, including the Fender Amp and FX Pack, while Fender Studio Pro and Universal Control support remote mix adjustments.

Design & Installation

The QUANTUM LT2 uses a compact black enclosure measuring 5.5 inches wide, 3.5 inches deep, and 1.75 inches high. Its front-panel instrument and headphone connections keep common tracking controls accessible, while the mic/line input and balanced monitor outputs provide standard studio interfacing. At 1.125 pounds, it is sized for desktop, laptop-bag, and mobile recording use.

Connect the interface to a compatible computer through its bus-powered USB-C, USB 2.0-compatible connection, then connect powered monitors to the balanced 1/4-inch TRS outputs or headphones to the 1/4-inch headphone jack. Use the combo input for a microphone or balanced line-level device, and use the separate front instrument input for guitar or bass. Install the appropriate Fender software and drivers for low-latency operation, monitor control, loopback functions, and registration-based software access.
