Mackie EM-89D Dynamic Vocal Microphone $49.99
Bundle total: $168.99

The Arturia MiniFuse 1 White is a compact 1-input, 2-output USB audio interface for recording microphones, instruments, and line-level sources to a computer. It gives solo musicians, podcasters, streamers, and content creators a straightforward way to connect professional audio gear without relying on a computer’s built-in sound input. Its single combo input accepts XLR microphone cables or 1/4-inch instrument and line connections.

Designed for focused single-source recording, MiniFuse 1 supports guitar, bass, vocals, synths, voiceovers, and similar projects. A front-panel instrument-level switch helps match the input to guitars and basses, while switchable 48V phantom power supports compatible condenser microphones. Gain control and a color-coded VU meter provide visual feedback while setting recording levels.

The interface supports sample rates up to 192 kHz and uses dedicated microphone, instrument, and line input stages. Arturia specifies 110 dB typical dynamic range for its line, instrument, and microphone input paths, with a microphone preamp equivalent input noise rating of -129 dB typical A-weighted. This makes it suited to clean, detailed capture in a compact desktop or mobile recording setup.

MiniFuse 1 provides two balanced 1/4-inch TRS line outputs for powered studio monitors and a separate 1/4-inch stereo headphone output with its own volume control. The Direct Monitor switch lets you listen to the input signal directly from the interface while recording. A stereo virtual loopback channel can combine computer playback with microphone or instrument audio for streaming, screen capture, or voiceover work.

USB-C connectivity supplies both computer connection and bus power, while the rear USB Type-A hub can support a compatible USB device drawing up to 250 mA. Its aluminum enclosure, compact footprint, and included USB-C cables make it practical for desktop, laptop, and portable recording systems. Arturia also includes creative software and learning resources to help users begin recording and producing.

Key Features

  • Combo Mic/Instrument/Line Input: Connect one XLR microphone or 1/4-inch instrument or line source.
  • 48V Phantom Power: Supports compatible condenser microphones from the interface.
  • Direct Monitoring: Hear the input directly while recording.
  • Balanced Line Outputs: Connect powered monitors using two 1/4-inch TRS outputs.
  • Stereo Loopback Channel: Combine computer audio with live audio for content creation.
  • USB Type-A Hub: Connect a compatible low-power USB device.

Design & Installation

MiniFuse 1 uses a compact, rugged aluminum casing with backlit gain control and a color-coded VU meter. The white finish distinguishes this version while retaining the same MiniFuse 1 connection layout and bus-powered design. Arturia covers the MiniFuse range with a 5-year hardware warranty.

Connect the interface to a Mac or Windows computer through its USB-C computer port using one of the included USB cables. Use an XLR cable for a microphone or a 1/4-inch cable for an instrument or line source, then connect powered monitors to the balanced TRS outputs or headphones to the front headphone jack. For the cleanest monitor connection, balanced TRS cables are recommended when compatible speakers are used.
