The cable combines oxygen-free copper conductors, XLPE insulation, a served bare-copper shield, and a flexible PVC outer jacket. Its nominal outside diameter is 6.0 mm, and the finished cable is black with black-body XLR connectors. The contacts are gold-plated, while the internal conductors use blue and clear insulation colors in the quad construction.

Connect the XLR female end to a microphone or device with a male XLR output, then connect the XLR male end to a compatible female XLR input on a mixer, interface, preamp, or powered audio device. Route the cable away from AC power cords and avoid sharp bends, pinching, or strain at the connector ends. Confirm that both connected devices use standard 3-pin XLR connections before installation.
