Design & Installation

The GOLD TRS-XLRM-10 uses Mogami Neglex Quad 2534 cable with XLPE conductor insulation, a served shield, and a flexible PVC jacket. The finished cable is black and has black-body connectors with gold-plated contacts. Its nominal cable outside diameter is 6.0 mm.

Connect the 1/4-inch TRS male plug to a compatible female balanced TRS jack and the XLR male end to a compatible female XLR connector. Confirm that the source, destination, signal level, and balanced wiring are appropriate for the equipment before installation. Route the cable away from power wiring where practical and avoid sharply bending or crushing the cable.
