The Ortofon CC-MK2 CLUB TWIN is a matched pair of Concorde MKII Club DJ cartridges for turntables with removable headshell connections. It gives DJs two ready-to-use cartridges for stereo playback or dual-turntable setups. The package is also suited to vinyl archiving, sampling, studio playback, and broadcast-oriented use.

Each cartridge uses a Special Elliptical diamond stylus designed to trace record grooves with more contact area than a spherical stylus. This profile is intended to retrieve fine musical detail during conventional vinyl playback. It is a practical choice for DJs who prioritize sound quality while using lighter back-cueing and scratching techniques.

An 8 mV output voltage provides a comparatively strong phono signal for compatible DJ mixers and phono preamps. This can reduce the amount of preamp gain needed in a system. Ortofon also identifies the higher output as useful for helping reduce susceptibility to feedback in live environments.

The Concorde MKII form factor integrates the cartridge and headshell-style connection into one assembly. It mounts directly to a compatible removable-headshell tonearm, eliminating separate cartridge mounting hardware and alignment steps. Set tracking force within the specified 2 to 4 g range, with 3 g recommended.

This Twin package supports a complete two-turntable setup and includes preinstalled styli on both cartridges. The cartridges can be stored and transported in the supplied flight case between sessions or performances. When replacement is needed, use the designated Stylus CC MKII Club replacement stylus.

Design & Installation

Each Concorde MKII Club cartridge combines a 18.5 g cartridge body with an aluminum cantilever and Special Elliptical diamond stylus. The integrated Concorde design places the cartridge in a single direct-mount assembly for compatible removable-headshell tonearms. The Twin set includes stylus protection guards and a dust brush, helping protect the stylus assemblies during storage and routine care.

Install each cartridge on a compatible turntable tonearm with a removable headshell connection, then balance the tonearm and set tracking force within the 2 to 4 g specified range. Ortofon recommends 3 g tracking force for the Club stylus. Keep the stylus guard fitted when mounting or removing the cartridge, and clean the stylus gently from the rear toward the tip with a suitable brush.
