The Memphis MS60MV is a pair of 6.5-inch oversized mid woofers made for component-style car audio upgrades. It is intended to strengthen the midbass and midrange range where vocals, guitars, drums, and other core musical details live. This makes it a practical option for replacing worn factory speakers or building a more tailored multi-driver system.

Each MS60MV uses a carbon fiber cone and rubber surround to combine low moving mass with durable suspension support. The result is a controlled, focused presentation designed for midrange and midbass duties rather than full-range playback. A center-mounted black phase plug is used to help reduce distortion and support high-frequency response from the driver.

The speakers include external passive crossovers with a 12 dB crossover design. These networks help manage frequency distribution in a component installation and allow the mid woofers to integrate more cleanly with additional drivers. The MS60MV is a mid-woofer-only design, so it does not include tweeters. For a 3-way arrangement, Memphis identifies the optional MSA1 tweeter and MS25 2.5-inch midrange as complementary additions.

With a 4-ohm impedance, 89 dB sensitivity, and manufacturer-rated handling of 75 watts RMS and 150 watts peak, the MS60MV is suited to properly matched aftermarket amplification. Its oversized 6.5-inch format, included grilles, and relatively shallow 2.4-inch published mounting depth make it appropriate for many custom door and panel installations.
