Design & Installation

The P3SD2-10 combines an anodized aluminum cone and dustcap, M-Roll Santoprene surround, dual linear spider, aluminum voice-coil former, and shallow motor assembly. Its hybrid StampCast basket provides structural support, while the diamond-cut cast-aluminum trim ring gives the installation a finished appearance. An optional grille is supported separately.

Use the 9.06-inch cutout diameter and 3.50-inch mounting depth when planning the baffle and available clearance. Connect both dual 2-ohm voice coils according to an amplifier-compatible wiring plan, and use the dual 10 AWG compression terminals for the speaker connections. For a vented enclosure, Rockford Fosgate specifies a 1.00 cubic-foot gross volume with one 4-inch by 12-inch port; a subsonic filter is recommended for vented use.
