Its 1.5-inch, four-layer copper voice coil uses Memphis DVVC cooling. The driver has a 7.05-inch outside frame diameter, a 5.95-inch cutout requirement, and a 5-inch mounting depth.

Install the MJM612 in a properly built sealed or vented enclosure that meets Memphis volume recommendations. A single sealed enclosure is specified at 0.5 cubic feet gross, while a single vented enclosure is specified at 0.8 cubic feet gross and 40 Hz tuning. Select the 1-ohm or 2-ohm configuration only with an amplifier that supports that final load, and set gain conservatively to avoid clipping or distortion.
