A separate stereo headphone output with its own level control supports personal monitoring.

For computer-based work, the V3 functions as a 2-in/2-out USB 2.0 audio interface at 44.1 kHz with 16-, 24-, or 32-bit operation. It can run from four AA batteries, USB bus power, or the optional Zoom AD-16 9V DC adapter. This combination lets it serve as a compact front end for a live vocal rig, desktop streaming station, or mobile content-creation setup.
