Shure GLXD14R+-Z3 Dual-Band Guitar Wireless Rack System
$719.00
Mogami GOLD STAGE-50 50 Ft XLR Microphone Cable
$194.95
The Shure GLXD14R+-Z3 is a digital wireless instrument system for guitar and bass players who want to move freely without a traditional instrument cable running to their amplifier, pedalboard, or mixer. It combines the GLXD1+ bodypack transmitter, WA302 instrument cable, and GLXD4R+ half-rack receiver in one system. Its Z3 version operates in license-free 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz frequency ranges.
This system is designed for performers, rehearsal spaces, houses of worship, and installed rigs that need a compact rack-ready wireless solution. Automatic frequency management monitors available spectrum and selects operating channels to help maintain a usable connection. The transmitter and receiver can link automatically for a straightforward setup process.
Shure proprietary digital wireless transmission supports a 20 Hz to 20 kHz audio frequency response and 120 dB A-weighted dynamic range. The bodypack's high 900 kOhm input impedance is suited to instrument pickups. Receiver gain is adjustable from -18 to 42 dB in 1 dB increments to help match the wireless output to the rest of the audio system.
Dual-band operation provides access to both the 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz bands, with Best Band mode using both bands by default where supported. The system can also be set to 2.4 GHz-only or 5.8 GHz-only operation as needed. Its maximum RF output power is 10 mW EIRP.
The included SB904 rechargeable lithium-ion battery powers the GLXD1+ bodypack for up to 11.5 hours under Shure's published specification. Charging is supported through the transmitter's USB-C port, and GLX-D+ systems can charge the battery directly through the receiver. For expanded multi-system installations, the GLXD+FM Dual Band Frequency Manager is available separately.
Key Features
- Dual-Band Wireless: Operates in 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz spectrum.

- Instrument Bodypack: GLXD1+ transmitter connects to guitar or bass.
- Rechargeable Power: SB904 battery provides up to 11.5 hours runtime.
- Digital Audio: Delivers 20 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response.
- Automatic Frequency Management: Helps locate and maintain an available operating channel.
Design & Installation
The GLXD4R+ receiver uses a steel housing, while the GLXD1+ bodypack combines aluminum alloy and ABS plastic construction. The receiver has dual-band half-wave sleeve dipole antennas and balanced XLR plus impedance-balanced 1/4-inch audio outputs. Its front-panel display and gain controls provide access to channel, group, gain, battery, and operating information.
Mount the receiver in a compatible rack using the supplied rack-mount hardware, then connect its XLR or 1/4-inch output to an amplifier, pedalboard, mixer, or audio interface. Connect the WA302 cable from the GLXD1+ transmitter's TA4M input to the instrument's 1/4-inch output, install the supplied SB904 battery, and link the transmitter to the receiver. For remote antenna placement or larger coordinated deployments, compatible RSMA antennas, cables, splitters, and the optional GLXD+FM Frequency Manager are available separately.
