A hand-crafted 1-inch true condenser capsule sits at the center of the T2 design. The dual-diaphragm configuration supports cardioid, hypercardioid, omnidirectional, and figure-8 pickup patterns. This flexibility helps tailor rejection, room pickup, and microphone placement to the source and recording environment.

Switchable -10 dB and -20 dB attenuation pads allow the T2 to accommodate higher sound-pressure levels from loud instruments. Selectable 40 Hz and 80 Hz low-cut filters help reduce rumble, footfall noise, and excessive proximity-effect buildup. Design & Installation

The T2 uses a die-cast all-metal housing, metal switches, and a rugged spring-steel wire-mesh grille. Its flat, rounded chassis works with the included custom shockmount for stable placement. The microphone measures 146 mm long, 58 mm wide, and 29 mm in diameter.

Connect the T2 to a microphone input using a balanced 3-pin XLR cable, then enable 48 V phantom power from the connected interface, preamp, mixer, or recorder. Select the polar pattern, pad, and low-cut filter to suit the source before setting input gain. The included thread adapter allows the shockmount to be fitted to compatible microphone stands or booms.
