The sE Electronics V7 G-25AE is a wired handheld dynamic microphone in a limited-edition gold finish. It is designed for vocals, speech, broadcasting, podcasting, electric guitar, and drums where dependable XLR connectivity and strong sound-source isolation are useful. Its supercardioid pickup pattern helps reduce surrounding stage bleed in live and recording environments.

The V7 uses a custom DMC7 dynamic capsule with an aluminum voice coil and neodymium magnet. This combination is engineered for a clear, open vocal character with a 40 Hz to 19 kHz frequency range. Its 2.0 mV/Pa sensitivity and 300-ohm electrical impedance suit typical microphone inputs on mixers, PA systems, preamps, and audio interfaces.

For singers and presenters working near stage monitors, the supercardioid polar pattern is intended to provide useful isolation from off-axis sound. This can support higher gain before feedback when the sound system is positioned and operated correctly. The microphone is end-address, so the grille should be aimed toward the performer or sound source.

A patented integrated shockmount helps decouple the capsule from mechanical vibration. This design reduces handling noise, rumbles, and incidental movement sounds when the microphone is used handheld. An internal windscreen helps reduce wind noise and vocal plosives, and a spare yellow internal windscreen is included with this gold edition.

The V7 G-25AE combines a gold-finished all-metal zinc-alloy chassis with a corrosion-resistant spring-steel mesh grille. The grille has a beveled edge intended to help keep the microphone from rolling when placed on a flat surface. Its 54 mm diameter, 184 mm length, and 305 g weight retain the familiar handheld vocal-microphone format.

No batteries or phantom power are required for this dynamic microphone. Use a standard balanced XLR microphone cable to connect it to a mixer, PA system, microphone preamp, recorder, or audio interface with an XLR mic input.
