The Shure NXN8/S Nexadyne 8/S is a wired dynamic vocal microphone designed for professional live performance. This microphone is intended for performers who need a focused vocal signal in a busy stage environment. The supercardioid pattern offers tighter off-axis rejection than a cardioid microphone, helping limit cymbal bleed, monitor wash, and crowd noise. Its output is designed to feed a mixing console, microphone preamp, PA system, or compatible audio interface.

The NXN8/S delivers a full-band vocal character with midrange body, transparent highs, and warmth. Its 50 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response supports detailed vocal reproduction across a broad performance range. With a 450-ohm output impedance and -51.0 dBV/Pa sensitivity, it is made for professional microphone inputs.

At the center of the design is Shure Revonic dual-engine transducer technology. Two precisely calibrated transducers work together inside the microphone to shape the signal before it reaches the mixer. Design & Installation

The NXN8/S uses a die-cast aluminum housing with a black painted finish. Its grille is hardened and dent-resistant for repeated handling and transport. The handheld body weighs 294 g and includes a protective ANXNC zippered case.

Connect the microphone to a mixer, PA system, audio interface, or microphone preamp with a standard female-XLR microphone cable, sold separately. Use the included A25E microphone clip for stand mounting and the included brass adapter when a different stand-thread size is required. For live use, test microphone and monitor placement before a performance to maintain effective rejection of unwanted sound.
