The Rockford Fosgate X317-STG2 is a vehicle-specific Stage 2 audio kit for select 2017–2021 Can-Am Maverick X3 models. It combines a dash-mounted PMX-1 digital media receiver with front and rear 6.5-inch speakers for a complete four-speaker upgrade. The package is designed for riders who want integrated music playback and wider sound coverage without piecing together a system from individual components.

The PMX-1 receiver provides Bluetooth audio streaming, USB playback and charging, a rear auxiliary input, plus AM/FM/Weather Band radio reception. Its built-in four-channel amplifier supplies 25 watts RMS per channel at 4 ohms, while RCA preamp outputs allow the system to be expanded with external amplification later. A 2.3-inch full-dot-matrix LCD and rotary encoder keep core controls accessible from the dash.

Front sound comes from a pair of M0-65B 6.5-inch marine-grade coaxial speakers mounted in the included X317-FSE front speaker panels. The rear system uses a pair of M0WL-65MB 6.5-inch Moto-Can speakers, providing elevated rear placement on compatible ROPS tubing. Each included speaker is rated for 65 watts RMS and uses a 4-ohm nominal impedance.

The speaker system is engineered for outdoor powersports use, with weather-resistant materials and Element Ready construction across its major audio components. Mineral-filled polypropylene cones, Santoprene surrounds, sealed motor assemblies, and UV-stable plastics support use in exposed off-road environments. The Moto-Can enclosures are IPX6 rated and use sealed Deutsch/Amphenol connections.

This kit supplies the receiver, dash kit, front speaker panels, front speakers, rear Moto-Cans, rear add-on harness, and antenna needed for the core installation. It does not include an external amplifier, so the PMX-1 powers the speakers in the supplied configuration. RCA outputs and selectable crossover settings provide a practical path for adding amplification or a subwoofer to a compatible Maverick X3 audio system.

The M0-65B speakers use UV-stable ASA frames and grilles, sealed motor assemblies, marine-grade terminals, mineral-filled polypropylene cones, and Santoprene surrounds. Rear M0WL-65MB enclosures use high-density ASA construction, installed sport grilles, sealed connectors, and clamps intended for 1- to 2-inch ROPS tubing.

The kit uses direct-connect harnessing and is designed to avoid cutting the vehicle wiring; installation requires minimal drilling for the dash kit.
