Rockford Fosgate RNGR18RC-STG6 6.5"/10" Ranger Audio Kit

The Rockford Fosgate RNGR18RC-STG6 is a Stage 6 audio upgrade package for select Polaris Ranger XP 1000 full-size and Crew models equipped with factory Ride Command. It builds a complete amplified system around the vehicle's existing Ride Command display rather than replacing the factory source. The package includes front and rear speaker enclosures, four 6.5-inch M2 Color Optix speakers, a 10-inch M2 subwoofer enclosure, a five-channel amplifier, lighting control, and model-specific installation hardware.

This system is intended for Ranger owners who want fuller cabin coverage and dedicated low-frequency output while retaining factory controls and integration. Four 2-way speakers distribute sound between the front lower and rear upper locations, while the front under-seat ported enclosure adds bass without using a conventional cargo-area subwoofer box. The included M5-1500X5 amplifier provides dedicated power for the speaker and subwoofer sections.

The RFPOL-RC5 Ride Command interface connects the factory Ride Command system to the Rockford Fosgate amplifier. Its circuitry is designed to address Ride Command turn-on pop and electronic noise associated with Polaris DYNAMIX suspension-equipped vehicles. It also passes front, rear, and subwoofer audio signals while using Ride Command's built-in 100 Hz high-pass and low-pass crossover points.

Color Optix LED lighting is integrated into the M2 speakers and M2D4-10IB subwoofer. The included PMX-RGB controller supports lighting control through the RF Connect app and can control up to eight compatible Color Optix speakers or subwoofers. This lets the lighting be coordinated across the included audio components without changing the audio source.

Rockford Fosgate designed the supplied speaker pods, subwoofer enclosure, amplifier bracket, and harnesses around compatible Ranger mounting locations. The front and rear enclosures use vehicle-specific fitment, and the amp installation kit provides preconfigured wiring for the included M5-1500X5 amplifier. Rear speaker installation requires a Polaris Ranger Poly Roof, with or without the Premium Roof Liner.

Design & Installation

The system combines Element Ready audio components with molded, vehicle-specific enclosures intended for off-road use. The M2 speakers use mineral-filled polypropylene cones, TPE surrounds, laminated PXNX dome tweeters, and RGB LED illumination. The M5-1500X5 amplifier has an IPX6-rated Element Ready chassis and conformal-coated circuit boards, while the PMX-RGB lighting controller is IPX7-rated.

Verify Ranger model, year, Ride Command configuration, and roof equipment before ordering. The package is designed around the included M5-1500X5 and preconfigured harnesses, with the amplifier mounted under the hood through the supplied RNGR18-K4 installation kit. Install the rear pods only on vehicles with the required Polaris Ranger Poly Roof, and use the PMX-RGB controller with the RF Connect app for Color Optix lighting setup.
