The Rockford Fosgate PMX-HD14 is a direct-replacement digital media receiver designed for select 2014-and-newer Harley-Davidson motorcycles. It replaces the factory infotainment source with a motorcycle-specific touchscreen interface while retaining factory handlebar controls. It is intended for riders who want modern phone integration and expanded audio-system control without adapting a universal car stereo.

A 7-inch color TFT touchscreen provides access to media, radio, system settings, and connected-device functions. The display is designed to work with riding gloves, helping make on-bike operation more practical. Built-in Apple CarPlay supports compatible iPhone functions through the receiver's USB connection.

The PMX-HD14 includes a built-in four-channel amplifier rated at 25 watts RMS per channel at 4 ohms, plus front, rear, and subwoofer RCA line outputs for amplified systems. Its 4-volt RCA output capability supports a cleaner signal path when adding external Rockford Fosgate motorcycle amplifiers. Audio controls include equalizer, crossover, time-alignment, source-gain, fader, balance, and music-zone settings.

For connected listening, the receiver supports Bluetooth audio and phone functions, USB media playback, an auxiliary input, AM/FM radio, weather-band radio, and SiriusXM readiness. Bluetooth is also used for Street Party Mode, which lets one broadcasting PMX-HD14 share music with up to eight connected PMX-HD14 receivers. CB and wireless-headset connectivity are retained without additional interface parts on compatible motorcycles.

The PMX-HD14 is designed to fit into a Rockford Fosgate Harley-Davidson upgrade path, including systems with optimized speaker-location tuning presets. It can serve as the source unit for a basic fairing-speaker setup or a larger amplified system with rear speakers and a subwoofer. Two included trim bezels support Street Glide and Road Glide applications, but buyers should verify motorcycle-specific fitment before purchase.

The PMX-HD14 uses a motorcycle-specific direct-fit design rather than a conventional DIN radio chassis. The interface also includes day/night dimmer settings and a selectable key-touch tone.

Installation is designed as a plug-and-play replacement on compatible motorcycles, but fitment should be confirmed for the exact model and year before ordering. Use the front, rear, and subwoofer RCA outputs when building an externally amplified system, and connect a compatible SiriusXM tuner and antenna separately if satellite radio is desired. USB storage should be FAT16 or FAT32 formatted, with a maximum supported capacity of 32 GB.
