The Rockford Fosgate MOTO-REAR2 is an add-on rear speaker kit designed to expand compatible Yamaha YXZ audio systems with a pair of enclosed 6.5-inch speakers. It is made for owners of YXZ-STAGE2 or YXZ-STAGE3 systems who want to add rear sound coverage without building a custom speaker installation. The kit combines speakers, cage-mount clamps, and a vehicle-specific rear speaker harness in one package.

Its pair of Prime Marine RM1652W-MB enclosed speakers is intended to bring fuller sound to passengers seated behind the front seats. Each speaker is rated for 75 watts RMS at 4 ohms, with a 49 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response and 89 dB sensitivity. The two-way coaxial design combines a polypropylene woofer with a 1-inch dome tweeter for broad full-range playback.

The MOTO-REAR2 is built for off-road exposure with Rockford Fosgate's Element Ready design. The enclosed speakers use high-density polyethylene housings with UV inhibitors, while the included PM-CL2B clamps provide a black die-cast mounting solution for the rear enclosure location. This construction is intended for outdoor powersports use where dust, sun, vibration, and changing weather are part of regular riding.

Direct-connect wiring is a key part of the kit's vehicle-specific approach. The included RFYXZ-RSW16 rear speaker harness is designed for Yamaha YXZ applications, helping avoid unnecessary custom wiring during installation. The enclosed speakers also provide adjustable aiming through their rotational mounting design, allowing the sound to be directed toward the cabin area.

This kit is an expansion component rather than a complete audio system. It is confirmed for use with YXZ-STAGE2 and YXZ-STAGE3 packages, and it may also be added to YXZ-STAGE5 when powered by the built-in amplifier in the PMX source unit. The package also includes black PM-CL2B Punch die-cast clamps for the rear enclosures.

Install the kit as a rear expansion for a compatible Yamaha YXZ audio package, using the supplied RFYXZ-RSW16 rear speaker harness and mounting hardware. Confirm clearance before tightening the speaker assemblies so the enclosures can be aimed properly, and observe correct speaker polarity during connection. For the rated speaker power handling, use a 100 Hz high-pass filter; the antenna is not included.
