Memphis MM84TW 8" White ATAC Tower Speakers

The Memphis MM84TW is a pair of 8-inch white tower speakers designed for marine and powersports audio systems. It provides an external, bar-mounted speaker solution for boats and other applications where music needs to project beyond the seating area. Each pair combines full-size woofers with an integrated high-frequency array in a sealed enclosure.

These speakers are intended for owners building or upgrading a wake-tower, marine, or powersports sound system. Their 4-ohm design and 200-watt RMS, 400-watt peak power handling support use with a properly matched external amplifier. The 8-inch format is suited to systems seeking mid-bass presence along with projected high-frequency detail.

Memphis ATAC, or Advanced Tower Array Construction, places three tweeters on a curved bridge across the front of each speaker. This arrangement avoids a center-mounted compression horn and leaves more of the woofer surface unobstructed. The curved array is designed to broaden high-frequency dispersion for listeners positioned behind the vehicle or boat.

The MM84TW uses a fully sealed ASA plastic enclosure with sealed electrical connections and an IP66 rating. Its stainless steel array grille and corrosion-resistant stainless steel hardware support use in exposed marine and powersports environments. RGB illumination is integrated into the cone, tweeter array, side and rear rings, and rear badge for coordinated lighting within a compatible RGB setup.

For installation flexibility, the included cast stainless steel clamp mounts fit 1.875- to 3-inch bars and provide 360-degree swivel adjustment. The logo badge and front grille can be rotated to maintain a clean appearance after aiming the speakers. Optional MMSMTBK surface-mount brackets are available separately for flat-surface mounting applications.

The MM84TW has a white ASA plastic enclosure, a stainless steel array grille, and corrosion-resistant stainless steel hardware. Its fully sealed speaker construction, sealed electrical connections, UV testing up to 1,500 hours, and IP66 rating are intended for outdoor marine and powersports use. The front grille and rear logo badge rotate for visual alignment at different mounting angles.

Mount the speakers to compatible 1.875- to 3-inch bars using the supplied swivel clamp hardware, then aim and secure them before final wiring. Use an external amplifier compatible with the speakers' 4-ohm impedance and power handling, and plan separate wiring and control components for the RGB lighting. For flat mounting surfaces, use the separately available MMSMTBK surface-mount bracket pair.
