Use quality copper power and ground wire; the installation guide specifies 10-gauge cable for this model and recommends 8-gauge cable for power runs exceeding 20 feet. Route power, speaker, and RCA signal cables properly, fuse the positive power lead within 18 inches of the battery, and set gain only after the source unit and speaker system are connected.
