Audison DRCMPCAN Digital Remote Control

The Audison DRCMPCAN is a wired digital remote controller for compatible Audison AF bit DSP amplifiers and future Audison devices with a DRCC port. It places common DSP-system adjustments within reach of the driver instead of requiring access to a computer or amplifier. The compact controller is suited to custom vehicle audio systems that need convenient day-to-day control.

Its joystick and dedicated keys provide direct access to functions including master volume, subwoofer volume, mute, DSP memory selection, and menu navigation. This makes it useful for drivers who switch between tuned sound presets or want quick level changes for different music and listening conditions. Control is handled at the remote while the DSP remains installed out of sight.

A white OLED display presents system information with a specified 160-degree viewing angle. An integrated light sensor automatically adjusts character brightness according to cabin light conditions. The RGB LED-backlit keypad can be set to one of 20 colors to better coordinate with the vehicle dashboard.

When an Audison B-CON is part of the system, the DRCMPCAN adds control of audio-streaming playback functions, including fast-forward and rewind commands shown on the display. It also supports absolute master-volume control from either the remote or a paired mobile device through the B-CON go app. Changes are synchronized in real time between the controller and app.

The DRCMPCAN is designed as part of the Audison Forza AF bit upgrade path rather than as a standalone audio source. It connects to the amplifier's DRCC port using the supplied 4.5 m DRC/CAN cable. A supplied holder supports clean dashboard or panel installation while keeping the controller accessible.

Design & Installation

The DRCMPCAN uses a slim 87 mm-wide remote body with a white character OLED display, RGB LED-backlit keys, and a four-axis Rubber Touch joystick. Its compact 36 mm height and 11 mm depth help it fit into many dashboard, console, or custom-panel locations. The supplied holder is intended to support a tidy, integrated mounting arrangement.

Install the controller inside a 12 V negative-ground vehicle and connect it to the DRCC port of a compatible AF bit device with the supplied 4.5 m cable. Keep the front light sensor unobstructed, avoid locations exposed to moisture, dirt, or excessive heat, and confirm that the installation does not interfere with vehicle controls or wiring. It is particularly useful in systems using Audison bit Drive configuration, multiple DSP memories, and an optional B-CON streaming interface.
