Audison DRCMP DRC MP Digital Remote Control

The Audison DRC MP is a digital remote control designed for compatible Audison processors, DSP amplifiers, and multimedia components. It puts commonly used system adjustments within reach from the driver’s seat rather than requiring access to the processor itself. This makes it a practical addition to an Audison system where source selection, volume, balance, fader, or subwoofer level need regular adjustment.

Its default control menu provides access to master volume, subwoofer volume, fader, balance, and available source selections. The controller communicates with compatible Audison electronics through the AC Link/DRC connection. Actual audio processing and volume output remain managed by the connected Audison processor or amplifier.

A 16-character by 2-line alphanumeric display provides system information, while a front light sensor can automatically adjust display brightness when Night & Day mode is enabled. The keyboard can be set to one of 42 colors for a closer visual match to the vehicle dashboard. A matte-black finish and slim 11 mm profile support a discreet installation.

The DRC MP uses a Rubber Touch joystick for four-direction menu navigation and adjustment. With compatible Audison DSP or AP Prima products, it can recall stored tuning memories and access applicable DSP functions such as Dynamic EQ, Bass Boost, and Auto IN Level Adjustment. Available menu functions depend on the connected product and its configuration.

When paired with an Audison bit Play HD, the DRC MP can control the player standby delay and navigate the player menu through its Navi Command function. The supplied holder and 4.5 m DRC/AC Link cable support dashboard mounting and connection to the compatible component. It is intended as a system controller, not as a standalone audio source, amplifier, or head unit.

Design & Installation

The DRC MP combines a matte-black front finish, white-character display, illuminated keyboard, integrated light sensor, and low-profile housing. Its compact body measures 87 x 36 x 11 mm, while the supplied holder measures 92 x 41 mm. The display is designed to remain readable from different viewing angles.

Mount the controller in a protected cabin location where it will not obstruct vehicle controls or cover the front light sensor. Use only the supplied 4.5 m DRC/AC Link cable, route it away from heat and potential pinch points, and connect it to a compatible Audison DRC input or AC Link-equipped component. The DRC MP is specified for 12V negative-ground vehicles and an operating temperature range of 0°C to 55°C.
