The sE Electronics V2 SWITCH XLR is a wired dynamic handheld microphone designed for vocals, speech, talkback, paging, and instrument capture. It combines a supercardioid pickup pattern with an integrated on/off switch for practical control in live and installed sound setups. This version includes a 15-foot XLR-to-XLR cable for connecting to a compatible mixer, interface, or PA system.

Its supercardioid capsule is intended to focus on the source directly in front of the microphone while reducing pickup from surrounding room sound. That makes it a suitable choice for presenters, vocalists, rehearsal spaces, houses of worship, and event systems where background noise can be a concern. The 50 Hz to 16 kHz frequency range supports clear vocal and general-purpose instrument use.

The V2 SWITCH uses a dynamic capsule with a copper voice coil and neodymium magnet. Its 2.8 mV/Pa sensitivity and 630-ohm electrical impedance are specified for use with microphone inputs having a recommended load impedance above 1 kOhm. As a passive dynamic microphone, it does not require phantom power to operate.

An integrated no-slip on/off switch allows the microphone to be muted directly from the handle when needed. This is useful for talkback positions, paging duties, guest microphones, and stage handoffs. The switch adds straightforward operational control without requiring changes at the mixer.

For regular transport and stage use, the microphone has an all-metal housing, a stainless spring-steel mesh grille, gold-plated XLR contacts, an internal windscreen, and an integrated shockmount. The included mic clip and thread adapter support stand mounting, while the supplied pouch provides storage between uses. It can be used as a primary vocal microphone or as an additional wired microphone in a larger PA, recording, or communication system.

The V2 SWITCH XLR uses an all-metal body with a beveled stainless spring-steel mesh grille. Its gold-plated XLR contacts are designed for a dependable cable connection, while the built-in windscreen and shockmount address common noise sources during handheld use. The microphone measures 53 mm in diameter by 182 mm long and weighs 307 g.

Connect the included XLR-to-XLR cable between the microphone and a compatible XLR microphone input on a mixer, PA system, audio interface, or other audio device. For stand use, attach the included mic clip and thread adapter as needed. The manufacturer specifies a recommended load impedance above 1 kOhm; no phantom power is required for the microphone itself.
