The sE Electronics V2 SWITCH is a wired dynamic handheld microphone designed for vocals, speech, talkback, paging, and instrument capture. Its integrated on/off switch provides straightforward control when a microphone needs to be muted between uses. The microphone connects through a standard 3-pin male XLR output for use with compatible mixers, interfaces, and PA systems.

Its supercardioid pickup pattern is intended to focus on the source in front of the microphone while helping reduce pickup of surrounding room sound. This makes it a practical choice for presenters, singers, rehearsal spaces, small stages, and home recording setups. The balanced sound character also supports close-miked instruments such as guitar cabinets, brass, drums, and choirs.

The V2 SWITCH uses a dynamic capsule with a copper voice coil and neodymium magnet. It has a 50 Hz to 16 kHz frequency range, 2.8 mV/Pa sensitivity, and 630-ohm electrical impedance. These specifications suit common microphone inputs with a recommended load impedance greater than 1 kOhm.

Built for regular handling, the microphone combines an all-metal housing with a stainless spring-steel mesh grille. Its beveled grille design helps keep the microphone from rolling when set down. Gold-plated XLR contacts support a dependable physical connection over repeated setup and teardown cycles.

An internal windscreen helps reduce wind noise and plosive sounds, while the integrated shockmount is designed to reduce handling noise and rumble. The included stand clip, thread adapter, and pouch make it easy to add the microphone to a basic vocal, speech, recording, or live-sound setup. An XLR microphone cable and a compatible XLR-equipped audio device are required for operation.

The V2 SWITCH has an all-metal body, a stainless spring-steel mesh grille, and gold-plated XLR contacts. Its 53 mm diameter and 182 mm length give it a familiar handheld microphone format, while the 307 g weight provides a substantial feel. The grille includes a beveled edge intended to reduce rolling when the microphone is placed on a flat surface.

Connect the microphone's 3-pin male XLR output to a compatible mixer, audio interface, microphone preamp, or PA input using an appropriate XLR cable. For stand use, install the included microphone clip and thread adapter as needed for the stand hardware available. Position the front of the microphone toward the performer or sound source, keeping the source close for focused pickup and reduced room sound.
