The Rockford Fosgate X317MAX-RSS is a vehicle-specific rear bass upgrade for select Can-Am Maverick X3 MAX four-seat models. It adds two loaded 10-inch subwoofer enclosures and a dedicated mono amplifier to compatible Rockford Fosgate Stage-3, Stage-4, Stage-5, or Stage-6 audio systems. The kit is intended for riders who want to extend their existing system with dedicated low-frequency output without adapting universal enclosures.

Each sealed enclosure is shaped for placement beneath a rear seat, using a left-and-right arrangement made for the X3 MAX cabin. The down-firing subwoofer layout focuses the system on bass reinforcement while preserving a factory-integrated appearance. Its two M2D2-10IB 10-inch subwoofers use the supplied vehicle-specific wiring to create a 2-ohm amplifier load.

The included M5-1000X1 mono amplifier is an Element Ready, IPX6-rated design with a 30 Hz infrasonic filter and adjustable low-pass crossover. It delivers 750 watts RMS at 2 ohms, matching the kit's wired load configuration. The amplifier's PRESET function is designed for use with compatible Rockford Fosgate UTV systems, reducing the need for manual amplifier adjustment.

This package is built for off-road installations where water spray, dust, vibration, and exposure are practical considerations. The subwoofer enclosures use roto-molded HDPE construction and sealed designs, while the amplifier uses sealed harness and panel interfaces.
