Rockford Fosgate R2-750X1 750W Mono Amplifier $379.99
Bundle total: $859.98

The Rockford Fosgate T1D210 is a 10-inch Power Series subwoofer designed for vehicle audio systems that need dedicated low-frequency output without moving to a larger driver. Its dual 2-ohm voice-coil design provides wiring flexibility for compatible mono or multi-channel amplifier setups. The subwoofer is sold individually and includes a grille and trim ring.

Rated for 600 watts RMS and 1,200 watts maximum power, the T1D210 is intended for systems built around substantial bass power. Its 83 dB sensitivity and 34.5 Hz free-air resonance support use in a properly designed sealed or vented enclosure. The result is a purpose-built subwoofer for listeners upgrading a factory system or building a more capable aftermarket bass section.

A Kevlar fiber-reinforced paper cone, Santoprene surround, and anodized aluminum dust cap form the moving assembly. Rockford Fosgate uses VAST surround technology to increase effective cone area compared with a conventional surround layout. Dual progressive-roll Nomex spiders, periodic-stitched tinsel leads, and venting around the pole piece and spider are engineered to support controlled cone movement and heat management.

The T1D210 uses a 3-inch dual voice coil with copper-clad aluminum wire on an aluminum former. Its SWIFT input connection allows the dual 2-ohm coils to be configured for a 1-ohm or 4-ohm final load when wired as specified for the system. This makes the driver suitable for matching with amplifiers that are stable at either of those impedance loads.

For enclosure planning, Rockford Fosgate specifies a 0.75 cubic-foot sealed enclosure or a 1.50 cubic-foot vented enclosure. The 6.375-inch mounting depth and 9.0625-inch cutout requirement should be checked before building or selecting an enclosure. Pair it with an amplifier whose continuous output and supported load are appropriate for the subwoofer's 600-watt RMS rating and chosen wiring configuration.

Key Features

  • 600-Watt RMS Rating: Supports amplifier matching for sustained bass output.
  • Dual 2-Ohm Voice Coils: Enables 1-ohm or 4-ohm wiring configurations.
  • VAST Surround Technology: Increases effective cone area within the frame.
  • 3-Inch Voice Coil: Built for thermal capacity and controlled operation.
  • Cast Aluminum Basket: Provides a rigid mounting structure for the driver.
  • Included Grille: Adds protection for the exposed subwoofer cone.

Design & Installation

The T1D210 combines a rigid die-cast aluminum basket with a Kevlar fiber-reinforced paper cone, Santoprene surround, aluminum dust cap, and dual Nomex spiders. Its motor structure uses a 100-ounce magnet assembly, while the IDHS inductive damping heat sink and optimized venting are part of its thermal-management design. Compression terminals accept the subwoofer wiring connection, and the trim ring can conceal mounting hardware.

Allow at least 6.375 inches of mounting depth and cut a 9.0625-inch mounting opening. A 0.75 cubic-foot sealed box is the manufacturer-recommended sealed volume; a 1.50 cubic-foot vented box is the recommended vented volume, using a 4-inch diameter by 11-inch long port in the listed design. When using a vented enclosure, use an infrasonic or subsonic filter to limit very low frequencies below the usable enclosure range.
