Rockford Fosgate RZR20PRO-RSS 10" Rear Subwoofer Kit

The Rockford Fosgate RZR20PRO-RSS is a rear add-on subwoofer kit designed to expand the bass capacity of a compatible Polaris RZR audio system. It places a second loaded 10-inch subwoofer beneath the rear seat, adding low-frequency output without taking away passenger space. This is a vehicle-specific upgrade rather than a universal enclosure or standalone powered subwoofer.

This kit is intended for select four-seat Polaris RZR Pro XP, Turbo R, and Pro R models when equipped with a compatible Rockford Fosgate aftermarket Stage 4, Stage 5, or Stage 6 system. It supports installations with or without Ride Command when the required compatible Rockford Fosgate system is already in place. It is not compatible with Polaris OEM audio systems by itself.

A Gen-2 M2D4-10IB-G2 10-inch dual-voice-coil subwoofer is fitted in an oval ported enclosure for extended low-bass output. The loaded subwoofer is rated for 400 watts RMS and 1,600 watts peak power handling. When connected to the specified compatible Stage systems, the paired front and rear subwoofers operate from the existing amplifier's subwoofer channel.

The enclosure uses roto-molded high-density polyethylene for a seamless, durable construction suited to off-road use. Rockford Fosgate's Element Ready design addresses exposure to water, dirt, mud, and UV conditions. A removable port cap can close the port for sealed-enclosure operation and deep-water applications.

The RZR20PRO-RSS is built as an upgrade path for an already-installed Rockford Fosgate RZR system, using an integral plug-and-play harness and OEM mounting locations. Its under-seat layout keeps the installation visually integrated with the vehicle. Color Optix lighting capability is included through the loaded subwoofer, with a compatible lighting controller required for control.

Design & Installation

The enclosure is made from durable HDPE using a roto-molded, seamless design. Its custom under-seat form is engineered to preserve rear passenger space while fitting the selected four-seat RZR platforms. The loaded M2D4-10IB-G2 subwoofer uses a mineral-filled polypropylene cone, synthetic polymer surround, dual voice coils, and corrosion-resistant connection hardware.

Installation uses OEM mounting holes, supplied brackets, and a plug-and-play harness for applicable RZR models, so no cutting or drilling is required for the vehicle installation. This kit requires a compatible Rockford Fosgate RZR19PXP-STG4/5/6 or RZR19RCPXP-STG4/5/6 aftermarket audio system and its external amplifier.
