This enclosure is intended for Ranger owners who want to add low-frequency output without using a generic box or sacrificing a large amount of cabin space. Its optimized sealed design supports controlled bass performance from compatible marine-grade Rockford Fosgate subwoofers. Once installed, the enclosure is designed to remain discreet under the passenger-side seat area.

The RFRNGR-FWE uses a roto-molded construction that is designed for lightweight, durable, seamless use in off-road environments. Its texture and color are matched to the vehicle interior for a more factory-integrated presentation. The enclosure is also Element Ready and carries an IPX6 water-intrusion rating for exposure to outdoor conditions.

Compatible applications include select full-size Polaris Ranger 900, Ranger 1000, Ranger 900 Crew, and Ranger 1000 Crew models. It mounts beneath the passenger-side seat area, with a supplied bracket used when installing in applicable Crew models. Vehicle configuration, factory options, and model year should be verified before purchase.

The enclosure works as part of a larger Rockford Fosgate Ranger audio upgrade path. It is designed to work with Rockford Fosgate PM and RM series subwoofers and is intended to pair with an appropriate amplifier and source unit. Design & Installation

The RFRNGR-FWE has a black, texture-matched enclosure body designed to blend with the Ranger interior. Its roto-molded construction avoids conventional panel seams and is intended for powersports use. The enclosure is IPX6 water-intrusion rated and has been tested to ASTM B117 and D4329 standards.

Installation places the enclosure beneath the passenger-side seat after removing the applicable storage tray. The included harness routes forward beneath the floor and connects to the enclosure pigtail, while supplied tie wraps help secure the harness to the vehicle wiring. A compatible 10-inch Rockford Fosgate subwoofer, an appropriately matched amplifier, and correct polarity/impedance wiring are required; professional installation is recommended if the installer is unsure.
