Color Optix RGB lighting provides illuminated styling for compatible marine systems. Lighting control requires the optional Rockford Fosgate PMX-RGB Color Optix controller, which can be used with the RF Connect app. Integrated Deutsch/Amphenol connectivity and a supplied RGB harness support clean, purpose-built installation options.

Built for marine exposure, the subwoofer uses Element Ready construction with an IPX6 water-intrusion rating and UV-resistant materials. The M2D4-10SB-G2 combines a mineral-filled polypropylene cone with a UV-stable foam surround, linear aramid-polyester composite spider, and 2-inch high-temperature voice coil. Its vented motor uses a water-repelling nano-coated mesh screen, while gold-plated marine-grade brass terminals help resist corrosion. The FlexFit basket provides adjustment during mounting, and the VAST surround design increases effective radiating cone area.

Install this subwoofer in a sealed enclosure with a net internal volume between 0.5 and 1.25 cubic feet, accounting for the woofer's 0.047 cubic foot displacement. Confirm that the mounting surface provides at least 4.70 inches of depth and an 8.98-inch cutout. Match the amplifier to the selected 2-ohm or 8-ohm VERSA setting, and add the optional PMX-RGB controller when full Color Optix lighting control is desired.
