The Mogami PLATINUM GUITAR-40R is a 40-foot unbalanced instrument cable with one straight 1/4-inch TS plug and one right-angle 1/4-inch TS plug. It is made for connecting an electric guitar, bass, keyboard, or similar instrument to an amplifier, pedalboard, or compatible unbalanced input. The PLATINUM GUITAR-40R is built around Mogami W3368 low-capacitance guitar cable, with a 20 AWG oxygen-free copper conductor, cellular polyethylene insulation, composite braid shielding, conductive PVC, and a black PVC jacket. The cable has an 8.0 mm outer diameter and uses gold-plated-contact copper-core plugs. One connector is straight and the other is a right-angle 1/4-inch TS plug.

Connect the cable between an instrument and a compatible 1/4-inch TS instrument input. Select the right-angle end for the jack location that benefits most from reduced connector protrusion, then route the cable to avoid sharp bends and repeated twisting. Use an over-under coiling method for storage, and use a dedicated speaker cable rather than this instrument cable for amplifier-to-cabinet connections.
