The straight Neutrik silentPLUG is designed for the instrument end of the cable. Its internal switch mutes the cable while it is unplugged, helping reduce pops and squeals when changing instruments under load. The red finish identifies the silent end for quicker setup onstage or in a studio.

Mogami builds this cable with W2524 instrument cable, which uses an oxygen-free copper center conductor and a conductive PVC sub-shield. The cable construction is intended to reduce handling-related noise that can occur as an instrument cable is moved, flexed, or stepped on. Its high-density shield supports dependable signal transfer in typical instrument-level signal paths.

This is a passive, mono TS cable intended for unbalanced instrument connections rather than balanced TRS lines or amplifier-to-speaker connections. Design & Installation

The cable has a black PVC outer jacket with a 6.0 mm outside diameter and a conductive carbon-PVC sub-shield beneath its served main shield. The right-angle connector helps reduce cable protrusion where space is limited.
