The GOLD TRS-TRS-06 uses Mogami W2534 Neglex Studio Quad cable, a four-conductor design with an overall served bare-copper shield. The quad conductor geometry is designed to improve rejection of electromagnetic and radio-frequency interference compared with conventional two-conductor cable designs. This makes it well suited to installations near power supplies, lighting, computers, and other potential noise sources.

Each end is fitted with a straight 1/4-inch TRS male connector with gold-plated contacts and a black body. The flexible PVC outer jacket helps the cable route cleanly between adjacent equipment while protecting the internal conductors. Cross-linked polyethylene conductor insulation is used in the cable construction.

Use this cable when both devices provide compatible 1/4-inch balanced TRS connections. It is an interconnect cable rather than a speaker cable, so it is not intended to carry amplified speaker output to passive loudspeakers. Design & Installation

The cable is built around Mogami W2534 quad cable with 24 AWG oxygen-free copper conductors, XLPE insulation, a served bare-copper shield, and a flexible black PVC jacket. Its cable diameter is approximately 6.0 mm, while the straight black-body connectors use gold-plated contacts. The assembly is shielded and uses the same connector type on each end.

Connect one TRS plug to a balanced 1/4-inch line output and the other to a balanced 1/4-inch line input, such as an interface-to-monitor or mixer-to-powered-speaker connection. Verify that both devices use 1/4-inch TRS balanced analog connections; adapters may be needed for XLR, RCA, 3.5 mm, or other connector formats. Do not use this cable between a power amplifier's speaker outputs and passive speakers.
