The Mogami GOLD SPEAKER SO-20 is a 20-foot amplifier-to-speaker-cabinet cable for professional audio systems using 4-pole speakON connections. It is intended to carry amplified speaker-level signal between a power amplifier or bass head and a compatible cabinet. This is a speaker cable, not an instrument or line-level audio cable.

Built around Mogami W2921 quad speaker cable, the GOLD SPEAKER SO-20 uses four highly stranded 14 AWG conductors. Its low-resistance construction is designed to support efficient power transfer in demanding amplifier-to-cabinet runs. The four-conductor format also supports low-inductance star wiring.

This cable is well suited to bass rigs, live-sound speaker systems, and other setups where a secure speakON connection is preferred. The 20-foot length provides useful placement flexibility for an amplifier and cabinet on stage or in a rehearsal space. Its black PVC jacket keeps the installation appearance clean and professional.

Design & Installation

The GOLD SPEAKER SO-20 uses a black flexible PVC outer jacket over four individually insulated NEGLEX oxygen-free copper conductors. The W2921 cable has a nominal 11.3 mm outer jacket diameter, while each insulated conductor measures 3.4 mm overall. Straight Neutrik 4-pole speakON connectors are installed at both cable ends.

Connect one end to a compatible amplifier speaker output and the other to a compatible speaker-cabinet input, then twist the speakON connectors to lock them in place. Confirm that the amplifier and cabinet use compatible 4-pole speakON connections and follow the equipment manufacturers' wiring and impedance requirements. Use this cable only for amplifier-to-passive-speaker connections, not for line-level audio or instrument connections.
