The Memphis PRX60C is a 6.5-inch oversized, two-way component speaker system designed to replace factory door speakers with a more configurable front-stage upgrade. It combines separate woofers, separate tweeters, and external crossover networks rather than placing every driver in one speaker basket. Separating the tweeters from the woofers allows more flexibility when aiming and positioning the high-frequency drivers.

Memphis supplies multi-mount tweeter hardware so the tweeters may be installed in flush, surface, or angled surface-mount configurations. This is useful when factory sail panels, dash locations, or custom panels determine where the tweeters can be placed. The woofers have a 2.5-inch mounting depth, so installation should begin with a check of door-panel and window-clearance space.

The PRX60C can serve as a front-speaker upgrade in a factory-system refresh or as part of a larger amplified system. Its included crossovers, wiring leads, mounting hardware, and grilles provide the core pieces needed for speaker installation, although vehicle-specific adapters or harnesses may still be required. Measure the factory opening against the 5.557-inch woofer cutout requirement and verify the 2.5-inch top-mount depth before mounting. Connect each amplifier or radio channel to its crossover input, then connect the crossover's woofer and tweeter outputs to their respective drivers. The tweeters can be flush-mounted, surface-mounted, or installed in angled surface-mount housings; use the supplied template and hardware where appropriate.
