The Stadium 122SSI is a passive component subwoofer, so it requires an external amplifier and enclosure. JBL's reference sealed enclosure volume is 1.3 cubic feet; its vented reference is 2.5 cubic feet with a 4-inch-diameter, 10-inch-long port tuned to 35Hz.
