The JBL JBLMARSPKSD62GAM Stadium Marine 62 is a pair of 6-1/2-inch, two-way coaxial marine speakers designed for boats and other exposed audio installations. It combines full-range playback with integrated RGB perimeter lighting in a gray grille design. The speakers are intended for listeners who need a marine-ready replacement or upgrade without adding separate tweeters.

With a 100-watt RMS power-handling rating, 300-watt peak rating, and 92 dB sensitivity, these speakers are built to provide useful output in open-air environments. Their 40 Hz to 25 kHz frequency response covers bass, vocals, and high-frequency detail from one coaxial speaker assembly. A 3-ohm nominal impedance can help draw more output from compatible marine amplification.

JBL uses Plus One polypropylene woofer cones to increase cone area within the speaker frame. The design is paired with grille-mounted Mylar tweeters, which keep the front of the woofer cone sealed while reproducing high frequencies. Rubber surrounds, sealed magnets, and a one-piece polymer basket support long-term use around sun, moisture, and salt exposure.

Integrated RGB perimeter illumination adds seven selectable colors without an external controller. An optional compatible external lighting controller can be used for expanded custom-color control. Two LED cables are included for connecting the lighting system during installation.

Design & Installation

These gray Stadium Marine speakers use polypropylene cones, rubber surrounds, sealed magnets, and one-piece polymer baskets. The fixed polymer grilles are sealed and UV resistant, while the weather-resistant design is rated IPX3 overall and IPX5 from the front. JBL specifies 300 hours of salt-spray testing for the Stadium Marine speaker line.

Each speaker requires a 5-23/32-inch mounting cutout and 2-9/16 inches of mounting depth, with an external diameter of 7-15/32 inches. Install using the supplied foam gaskets, stainless-steel screws, and speed clips where appropriate, then connect the speaker leads and included LED cables. Confirm amplifier stability at the speakers' 3-ohm nominal impedance, and use an optional external lighting controller only when custom RGB colors are wanted.
