JBL CB62 6.5" 2-Way Marine Speakers with RGB Lighting

The JBL CB62 is a pair of 6.5-inch, two-way marine full-range speakers designed for boats and other outdoor audio installations. Each speaker combines a woofer and bridge-mounted tweeter in a compact round format for replacing or upgrading existing marine speakers. They provide a 4-ohm load suitable for connection to compatible marine receivers or amplifiers.

Built for exposed environments, the CB62 uses marine-grade components and carries an IPX5 rating from the front of the speaker. Its one-piece polymer basket, polypropylene cone, rubber surround, sealed motor structure, and weather-resistant tweeter materials are intended for use around sun, salt, spray, and wash-down conditions. The front-sealed woofer cone also helps protect the motor structure from sea spray.

The speakers are rated for 75 watts RMS and 225 watts peak power handling per speaker pair specification. A 92 dB sensitivity rating at 2.83V and a 50 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response support clear midrange and high-frequency reproduction in open-air listening spaces. The balanced silk dome tweeters are bridge mounted for a smooth high-frequency presentation.

Integrated RGB illumination adds visual customization to a marine audio installation. When directly wired to a compatible 12-volt power source, the LED system can display seven colors through wiring combinations. A separate compatible lighting controller can be used for additional color-control options.

Installation is designed to present a clean finished appearance with twist-lock grilles that conceal the mounting fasteners. Both gloss white and satin grey grille sets are included, allowing the appearance to be selected during installation. The CB62 can serve as a direct full-range speaker upgrade or as part of a larger marine system with an external amplifier, subwoofer, and compatible RGB lighting control.

The included twist-lock grille system covers the mounting hardware and supports either a gloss white or satin grey appearance.

Verify the available cutout diameter, mounting depth, and clearance behind the panel before installation. Connect the speaker leads to the appropriate positive and negative outputs of a compatible source unit or amplifier, observing polarity. For illumination, connect the included RGB pigtail harness to a compatible 12-volt power source or separately sold lighting controller, and orient the speaker with its TOP marker upward so the terminals face downward for drainage.
