The Infinity BassLink MINI is a compact powered subwoofer system designed to add low-frequency output where a conventional enclosure may not fit. Its 6 x 8-inch woofer and integrated 100W RMS amplifier are contained in a slim enclosure intended for under-seat installation. It is a practical option for drivers who want more bass without using much cargo space.

This all-in-one unit is suited to factory or aftermarket car audio systems. It accepts both low-level and high-level audio signals, allowing it to connect with many types of source units. A wired bass-volume remote is included for making output adjustments from the driver’s seat.

The BassLink MINI is voiced for controlled bass response across its 30 Hz to 150 Hz frequency range. Its adjustable low-pass crossover helps blend the subwoofer with the vehicle’s existing speakers, while selectable phase adjustment can help optimize bass integration in the cabin. Adjustable bass boost provides additional low-frequency tailoring when needed.

Infinity uses high-pass filters and limiters in the BassLink MINI to help manage operation at higher output levels. The integrated amplifier is matched to the enclosed woofer, avoiding the need to select a separate amplifier or build a custom subwoofer box. This simplifies an upgrade path for vehicles with limited installation space.

The enclosure is made from die-cast aluminum, a design intended to keep the package compact and minimize enclosure rattles. At 3 inches high, the BassLink MINI can work well beneath many passenger seats when adequate clearance, ventilation, and safe mounting points are available. Professional installation is recommended when power wiring must be routed through the vehicle.

Design & Installation

The BassLink MINI uses an all-die-cast aluminum enclosure with a compact 11-7/16 by 8-5/16 by 3-inch footprint. Its integrated design houses the 6 x 8-inch woofer and 100W RMS amplifier together, eliminating the need for a separate amplifier enclosure. Built-in high-pass filters and limiters support controlled operation, while the enclosure design is intended to minimize unwanted vibration.

Infinity recommends mounting the BassLink MINI under the passenger seat when space permits. Before mounting, verify that seat movement, vehicle wiring, fuel lines, brake lines, and under-seat heating or air-conditioning vents will not be obstructed. The unit uses battery, chassis-ground, and remote-turn-on connections, and it can receive either RCA-style line-level signals or speaker-level signals through its wiring harness.
