The Cerwin Vega BKX212S is a complete bass package built around a dual 12-inch loaded sealed enclosure and a matching XED3001D monoblock amplifier. It provides a straightforward way to add dedicated low-frequency output to a factory or aftermarket car audio system. The preloaded enclosure reduces the need to select separate subwoofers, box, and amplifier components.

This package is intended for drivers who want a compact, coordinated bass upgrade for a trunk or cargo-area installation. Its sealed enclosure design is suited to controlled, defined bass response rather than a ported-box presentation. The system has a 2-ohm nominal final impedance and is rated for 300 watts RMS total.

Two 12-inch XED Series subwoofers are installed in the enclosure, creating a larger cone area than a single-subwoofer solution. The enclosure uses MDF construction and a sloped profile to support practical vehicle placement. Polypropylene cones, vented motor structures, poly-cotton spiders, and stamped Vega basket frames are part of the listed subwoofer design.

The included XED3001D amplifier is a compact Class D mono amplifier rated at 300 watts RMS at 2 ohms. It provides low-level and high-level input sensitivity ranges, allowing integration with many aftermarket receivers and compatible factory-radio installations. Install the enclosure securely in a trunk, hatch, or cargo area with clearance for the enclosure's 25.9 x 11.8 x 10-inch lower-depth profile and 5.7-inch top depth. The amplifier can accept low-level or high-level signal connections; configure the low-pass filter, subsonic filter, and gain during setup. Cerwin Vega recommends a 4 AWG amplifier wiring kit, and the installation should include appropriate fused battery power, ground, remote-turn-on or signal-sensing setup, and correctly polarized speaker wiring.
