This Prima-series subwoofer addresses installations where mounting depth and enclosure space are limited, such as compact trunks, underfloor areas, and vehicle-specific build locations. Its 120 mm ultra-low-profile design helps reduce the space required behind the driver. Basket ventilation beneath the spider also eliminates the need for a central pole vent, helping support close placement to an enclosure’s rear wall.

Rated for 400 watts continuous power and 800 watts peak power, the APS 10 S4S is built for properly amplified bass duty in a sealed system. Its 4-ohm nominal impedance and single voice coil simplify amplifier matching compared with multi-coil wiring arrangements. The driver uses a 60 mm voice coil, a high-density-flux ferrite motor, and a water-repellent pressed-paper cone.

Audison engineers the cone, dustcap, and basket geometry to support long linear excursion while maintaining a compact mounting profile. Install this driver in a custom sealed enclosure with at least 10 liters of volume, allowing for the driver’s 1.12-liter displacement during enclosure planning. Verify the 270 mm outside diameter, 233 mm Dimension B, and 88 mm mounting-depth measurement against the available mounting location before cutting. Use an amplifier that is stable at 4 ohms, set gains carefully, and configure the system’s crossover and enclosure construction for subwoofer use.
