This item Audison AF M1.7 bit Mono DSP Amplifier $1.00
AUDIO360 AD0C 0 AWG Amplifier Wiring Kit $78.00
Bundle total: $79.00

The Audison AF M1.7 bit is a mono Class D subwoofer amplifier with an integrated 7-channel digital signal processor. It is designed for adding controlled bass to factory or aftermarket audio systems while providing DSP tools for system integration and tuning. Its amplified output is dedicated to a subwoofer, while six DSP preamp outputs can support additional external amplifiers.

With 600 watts RMS at 4 ohms, 1000 watts RMS at 2 ohms, and 1200 watts RMS at 1 ohm, the AF M1.7 bit is suited to high-output subwoofer applications. The 1-ohm-stable mono channel gives installers flexibility when matching compatible single- or dual-voice-coil subwoofer loads. Its Class D design combines substantial subwoofer power with a compact chassis footprint.

The onboard 24-bit/96 kHz DSP provides equalization, crossover selection, delay, level adjustment, routing, and mixing through Audison bit Drive software. Input and output real-time analysis tools help identify and align factory signal behavior before tuning. The processor also supports time alignment up to 15 ms and adjustable crossover frequencies from 20 Hz to 20 kHz.

For factory-system upgrades, the amplifier accepts eight high-level or eight low-level inputs and includes Audison Universal Speaker Simulator circuitry for OEM integration. The optional F4IN expansion card adds four high-voltage analog inputs, bringing the high-level input total to twelve. An optical S/PDIF input is built in, while the optional F2O card adds a second optical input and a coaxial S/PDIF input.

Audison-specific bass tools are included for shaping low-frequency performance in the vehicle cabin. Bass Magnification Processing is intended to improve perceived low-end response, while fixed and dynamic bass boost functions provide additional tuning options. The AF M1.7 bit can serve as an add-a-sub amplifier or as the DSP control center for a larger system using its six preamp outputs.

Key Features

  • 1200W Mono Output: Delivers up to 1200 watts RMS into a 1-ohm load at 14.4V.
  • 7-Channel DSP: Processes the subwoofer channel and six preamp output channels for system tuning.
  • 24-Bit/96 kHz Processing: Provides high-resolution DSP control through Audison bit Drive software.
  • OEM Input Integration: Supports eight high-level inputs with Universal Speaker Simulator circuitry.
  • Bass Magnification Processing: Adds a psychoacoustic bass-enhancement option for low-frequency tuning.
  • Expandable Connectivity: Optional F4IN and F2O cards extend analog or digital input capability.

Design & Installation

The AF M1.7 bit uses a compact Class D amplifier platform measuring 240 x 156 x 47 mm and weighing 1.95 kg. Its integrated DSP, native optical input, configurable control connections, and six preamp outputs consolidate subwoofer amplification and system processing in one component. The amplifier uses two 35A blade fuses and is rated for operation from 6.5 to 17.5 VDC.

Install the amplifier in a dry, ventilated location with a direct fused power connection and a low-resistance ground path. Match the connected subwoofer system to the amplifier's 1-ohm minimum load and configure routing, crossovers, delay, and EQ with a compatible Windows PC running bit Drive software. For factory systems with more than eight channels or high-voltage speaker outputs, consider the optional F4IN expansion card; optional DRC AC, DRC MP CAN, and B-CON accessories add external control or Bluetooth streaming capability.
